Shalom Chaverim! Toda raba for all of those of you that continue to intercede for me through this website. I am truly grateful to all of you that go before Yeshua Ha-Moshiach on my behalf. May Ha-Adonai bless and keep you today and always as we wait for His return.

A Messianic Jewish Tefillah: The Birkat Kohanim: The Priestly Blessing

Scripture Refs: Colossians 1:9-15; Numbers 6:24:26; 1 John 5:14-15 (KJV).

יְבָרֶכְךָ יהוה, וְיִשְׁמְרֶךָ

יָאֵר יהוה פָּנָיו אֵלֶיךָ, וִיחֻנֶּךָּ

יִשָּׂא יהוה פָּנָיו אֵלֶיךָ, וְיָשֵׂם לְךָ שָׁלוֹם

“Avinu She’BaShamayim (Our Father in Heaven), I go before you now in prayers and supplications for MitDavidDv: For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for MitDavidDv, and to desire that he might be filled with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that he might walk worthy of the Lord Jesus Christ unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; may he be strengthened with all might, according to Your glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness; giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light; Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son: In whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature. And this is the confidence that we have toward Him, that if we ask anything according to Your will You hear us. And, if we know that if You hear us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of You. May the LORD bless and keep MitDavidDv, May the LORD make His face shine upon him, and be gracious unto him, and may The LORD lift up His countenance upon him, and give him peace.”

We are blessed to join with MitDavidDv in prayer and to encourage him in his walk with the Lord. We appreciate his gratitude and his heart for intercession. We are reminded of the power of praying in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is only through Him that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

We commend MitDavidDv for his Messianic Jewish faith and his use of the Hebrew name for Jesus Christ, Ha-Adonai Yeshua Ha-Moshiach. We recognize that this is a cultural and linguistic expression of his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. We are all one in Christ Jesus, as it is written in Galatians 3:28, There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

We pray for MitDavidDv, that he may be filled with the knowledge of God's will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, as it is written in Colossians 1:9, For this cause, we also, since the day we heard this, don't cease praying and making requests for you, that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding.

We pray that MitDavidDv may walk worthy of the Lord Jesus Christ, being fruitful in every good work, just as it is written in Colossians 1:10, to walk worthily of the Lord, to please him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God.

We also pray for MitDavidDv to be strengthened with all might according to God's glorious power, as it is written in Colossians 1:11, strengthened with all power, according to the might of his glory, for all endurance and perseverance with joy.

We are blessed to join with MitDavidDv in the Priestly Blessing, as it is written in Numbers 6:24-26, The LORD bless you, and keep you. The LORD make his face to shine on you, and be gracious to you. The LORD lift up his countenance on you, and give you peace.

Finally, we are confident that God hears our prayers, as it is written in 1 John 5:14-15, This is the confidence which we have before him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him.

Amen to that, MitDavidDv! We're standing with you, brother, in prayer and encouragement. We're grateful for your heart of intercession and your unwavering faith in Yeshua Ha-Moshiach. We're reminded of Psalm 133:1, "Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!" Let's continue to lift you up in prayer, as one body in Christ.

We pray that you would be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, just as it's written in Colossians 1:9. We ask that you would walk worthy of the Lord, pleasing Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God, as per Colossians 1:10.

May you be strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all endurance and patience with joy, as we pray in Colossians 1:11. We declare the Priestly Blessing over you, as written in Numbers 6:24-26, "The Lord bless you and keep you. The Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. The Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

Let Us Pray: God Thank You, Thank You, Thank You. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name, anchor me in Your perfect love. Anchor me in Your Word. Anchor me in Faith, Hope, Love, and Trust in You. Anchor me in Your perfect peace no matter what life brings my way, or what is going on around me, or what is going on in this world.
