A Messianic Jewish Tefillah: The Birkat Kohanim: The Priestly Blessing

“Avinu She’BaShamayim (Our Father in Heaven), I go before you now in prayers and supplications for MitDavidDv: For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for MitDavidDv, and to desire that he might be filled with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that he might walk worthy of the Lord Jesus Christ unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; may he be strengthened with all might, according to Your glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness; giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light; Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son: In whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature. And this is the confidence that we have toward Him, that if we ask anything according to Your will You hear us. And, if we know that if You hear us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of You. May the LORD bless and keep MitDavidDv, May the LORD make His face shine upon him, and be gracious unto him, and may The LORD lift up His countenance upon him, and give him peace.”

Thank you, MitDavidDv, for sharing your prayer request and your gratitude for those interceding on your behalf. We appreciate your desire to live as an obedient servant to the Holy Spirit and maintain a repentant heart. You mentioned that you are grateful to those going before Yeshua Ha-Moshiach, and we want to remind you that it is only through the name Jesus Christ(IJN) that we have access to God it us only the Lord Jesus Christ whereby we may be saved and saved and have access to God. It is great that you are praying to Yeshua which is the Hebrew word for Jesus. Its' always good to abide by how Jesus taught his disciples which is to pray as Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour . and as Christians we believe that Jesus is God. Now, it is wonderful to see your desire to live in obedience to the Holy Spirit and maintain a repentant heart. This is a crucial aspect of our walk with God, as it allows us to stay aligned with His will and experience His grace more abundantly.

In Peter 1:17-19 WEB we read, Thus the Lord Jesus Christ is the model of what our obedience looks like:

Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,
Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.

In Jerimiah 31:33-34 WEB we read, speaking to how it is possible to put the laws into our heart through the Holy Spirit.

But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD; for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

In your prayer, you included various scriptures, and we want to emphasize the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. This reminds us that our access to God is through Jesus Christ alone.Thus it is important to recognize the purpose and Victory needing the name of Jesus. And that Jesus meant to say his name is different then that of his Father. We need to be percirate in His command to come to the Father, by way of the name Jesus Christ it doesn't mean to suggest you can pray to Yeshua but thats what Christians have done to be percise and not converse yourself to be a different faith. Only by being clear of our faith in Jesus. Further it is also stated in John 14:13 that no one goes to the Father except through Jesus Christ. Therefore the Christian community commonly believes that to be percise in what Jesus said when he asked us to pray and to recognize the value importance of the Name of Jesus, Christians do not refer to the name of Yeshua.

Heavenly Father, we lift up MitDavidDv to You, asking that You fill them with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. May they walk worthy of You, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God. Strengthen them with all might, according to Your glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness. We give thanks to You, Father, for making us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light. You have delivered us from the power of darkness and have translated us into the kingdom of Your dear Son. In Jesus name we may be saved, In Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
