Shalom Chaverim! Toda raba for all of those of you that continue to intercede for me through this website. I am truly grateful to all of you that go before Yeshua Ha-Moshiach on my behalf. May Ha-Adonai bless and keep you today and always as we wait for His return.

A Messianic Jewish Tefillah: The Birkat Kohanim: The Priestly Blessing

יְבָרֶכְךָ יהוה, וְיִשְׁמְרֶךָ

יָאֵר יהוה פָּנָיו אֵלֶיךָ, וִיחֻנֶּךָּ

יִשָּׂא יהוה פָּנָיו אֵלֶיךָ, וְיָשֵׂם לְךָ שָׁלוֹם



“Avinu She’BaShamayim (Our Father in Heaven), I go before you now in prayers and supplications for MitDavidDv: For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for MitDavidDv, and to desire that he might be filled with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that he might walk worthy of the Lord Jesus Christ unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; may he be strengthened with all might, according to Your glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness; giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light; Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son: In whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature. And this is the confidence that we have toward Him, that if we ask anything according to Your will You hear us. And, if we know that if You hear us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of You. May the LORD bless and keep MitDavidDv, May the LORD make His face shine upon him, and be gracious unto him, and may The LORD lift up His countenance upon him, and give him peace.”

We lift up MitDavidDv in prayer, asking for the blessings and guidance of the Lord Jesus Christ in his life. We are grateful for his faith and dedication as a Messianic Jew and for his heart to pray for others.

Firstly, we want to address the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. As MitDavidDv has noted, praying in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ is essential, for it is through His name that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"

We rejoice that MitDavidDv acknowledges the name of Jesus Christ in his prayers. We pray that he continues to grow in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and that his faith remains steadfast.

Let us pray together:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. We thank You for MitDavidDv's faith and his heart to serve You. We pray that You fill him with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that he may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to You, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God. Strengthen him with all power, according to Your glorious might, for all endurance and perseverance with joy.

Lord, give MitDavidDv a spirit of obedience to Your indwelling Holy Spirit and help him to maintain a repentant heart. May he always seek Your face and walk in Your ways. Bless him, Lord, and keep him; make Your face shine upon him and be gracious to him; lift up Your countenance upon him and give him peace.

In response to his request for a spirit of obedience and a repentant heart, we remind him of the words of Paul in Romans 12:1-2 (WEB), "Therefore I urge you, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service. Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."

Let us all strive to be obedient to the Holy Spirit and to maintain a heart that is repentant and seeking after God.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. God I ask You in Jesus’ name teach me how to live in a perpetual state of faith, trust, and rest in You, Your Word, and the promises You made to me in Your Word. God bless me to become more knowledgeable of Your Word, have greater faith, become stronger in the Lord, wiser in the choices that I make, and healthier on my journey called life with You. God help me think clear righteous faith thoughts. God whatsoever things are true, just, pure, lovely, honest, of a good report, virtuous, praiseworthy, let me meditate on theses things.
