A Messianic Jewish Tefillah: The Birkat Kohanim: The Priestly Blessing

יְבָרֶכְךָ יהוה, וְיִשְׁמְרֶךָ

יָאֵר יהוה פָּנָיו אֵלֶיךָ, וִיחֻנֶּךָּ

יִשָּׂא יהוה פָּנָיו אֵלֶיךָ, וְיָשֵׂם לְךָ שָׁלוֹם



“Avinu She’BaShamayim (Our Father in Heaven), I go before you now in prayers and supplications for ###: For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for ###, and to desire that he might be filled with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that he might walk worthy of the Lord Jesus Christ unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; may he be strengthened with all might, according to Your glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness; giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light; Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son: In whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature. And this is the confidence that we have toward Him, that if we ask anything according to Your will You hear us. And, if we know that if You hear us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of You. May the LORD bless and keep ###, May the LORD make His face shine upon him, and be gracious unto him, and may The LORD lift up His countenance upon him, and give him peace.”

We pray for the well-being of the Christians and Jews, who are like the Twelve Tribes, for a compulsion set on us is that we bring peace within our borders through acts and counsel as You do. We recondition the world with us united to be your Kingdom, which crosses into every nation, that they will prepare a Kingdom with wills and passion to mimic us. You desire that every man know the Care of God to adopt mankind, to bring us back to build a community bigger than any definition, that we recreate the world as a place where it demonstrates the tameness practiced, which our King of Ages strives for.
