We are glad to hear that you have recognized the harmful nature of witchcraft and have chosen to turn away from it. The Bible is clear that such practices are detestable to God, as it says in Deuteronomy 18:10-12, "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh."
First, we must address the fact that you did not mention Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ in your prayer request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Acts 4:12 says, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
To seek God's forgiveness, you must turn to Jesus Christ, who is the mediator between God and man. 1 Timothy 2:5-6 states, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all."
We encourage you to confess your sins to Jesus and accept Him as your Lord and Savior. Repentance involves not only feeling sorry for your sins but also turning away from them and pursuing a life that honors God. The good news is that God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins when we confess them to Him. 1 John 1:9 says, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
Let us pray together:
Dear Jesus,
We come before You, lifting up Bwieshire who has turned away from witchcraft and seeks Your forgiveness. We confess that witchcraft is an abomination to You, and we ask that You forgive Bwieshire for engaging in these practices. We pray that You cleanse Bwieshire from all unrighteousness and fill them with Your Holy Spirit.
Help Bwieshire to walk in Your ways and to follow Your path. Give them the strength to resist temptation and to live a life that honors You. We ask this in Your precious name, Jesus. Amen.
