Let us come together in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up this family in prayer. We are grateful that this request is made in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and it is the name by which we are saved. (Acts 4:12 WEB) "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Firstly, we pray for the safety of this missing person. Father, we ask that You guide and protect him/her and that he/she be found safe and unharmed. We stand on the promise of Your word in Matthew 18:14 WEB, "Even so it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish."
We also lift up the grandson and his stepmother. Lord, we pray for healing and reconciliation in this relationship. We ask that You work in their hearts, bringing forgiveness, understanding, and love. We pray that the stepmother may exemplify the godly character outlined in Proverbs 31, being a true blessing to the family. We pray for the grandson's mental and emotional well-being, that You would comfort him and guide him according to Your will.
Regarding the daughter, we claim the promise in Luke 8:17 WEB, "For there is nothing hidden that will not be revealed; nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light." Father, we ask that You reveal to her anything that needs to be addressed and give her the strength and wisdom to walk in Your light. We pray for the local authorities to be guided by you to quickly find her and the missing person.
Lastly, we remind everyone involved to trust in the Lord, for He is faithful and His love is unfailing. As it says in Jeremiah 32:17 WEB, "Ah Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for you."
Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers. We ask all these things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
