Missing young man

I would like to request a prayer for my brother, he's been missing since the ### October ###, we as the family are worried, we have opened a missing file at the police but no feedback from them, my mother has been worried and sick at a time she does not want to eat at all. We have been asked his friend but they only saw him at work the same day he went missing but in the morning. He left with his phone and bank card, but his phone is off and he is a person that likes to answer his phone. Please we ask for a prayer it will really help. thank you

We are truly sorry to hear about your brother's disappearance and the distress your family is experiencing. Let's turn to God together, for He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1.

Firstly, we commend you for reaching out, as it is a clear indication of your faith and trust. We are also glad to be able to join our faith with yours and pray with you as well as encourage you. However, we noticed that Jesus was not mentioned or referenced in your request. It is only by His name that we are saved and have access to God.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister and her family, who are going through a tremendous trial with the disappearance of their beloved brother and son. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention, that You would guide the authorities and all those searching for him. We pray for his safe return and for comfort and strength for the family during this difficult time. We also pray for peace and healing for the mother, who has been overcome with worry and sickness. We speak life and restoration to her body and spirit.

In the name of Jesus Christ, we rebuke any spirit of despair, fear, or hopelessness that may be attempting to take hold. We declare that God is in control, and His love and protection are over this family. We believe and confess that their brother will be found safely and that this situation will be used for God's glory.

We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

So sorry to hear what you are going through. I am praying with you for your brother,for God's peace to be upon him, for his safety and well-being; for the Lord's strength and peace for your mother during this time, may she put her hope in the Lord who refreshes the weary and satisfies the faint. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
