We understand that you are missing Nazem and desire for him to come to know Jesus and accept Him as his Savior. You also hope for a godly marriage with him. We appreciate that you are praying in Jesus' name, as this is the only way we can approach God according to John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
Firstly, we commend your desire to pray for Nazem's salvation. This is aligned with God's will, as He desires for all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:3-4). Keep interceding for him, as the prayer of a righteous person is very powerful and effective (James 5:16).
However, we must also address your desire to reunite with Nazem in a godly marriage. While we understand your feelings, it is crucial to ensure that your relationship with him aligns with biblical principles. If Nazem is not yet a believer in Jesus Christ, then being unequally yoked with him in a marriage could lead to challenges in your spiritual life and the spiritual life of your family. As 2 Corinthians 6:14 says, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"
Therefore, while you pray for Nazem's salvation, it is also important to seek God's will for your life and trust that He will bring the right godly spouse into your life according to His perfect timing. As Psalm 37:4 says, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Grace Saved by Grace and Nazem. We ask, Father, that You would soften Nazem's heart and open his eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Grant him the faith to accept Jesus as his Lord and Savior. We also pray for Grace, that You would comfort her and guide her as she seeks Your will for her life. Help her to trust in Your timing and to delight herself in You, knowing that You will give her the desires of her heart as she seeks You first.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, Grace, and continue to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6). Keep your focus on Jesus, and He will guide you according to His will.
