Callum, we understand the pain and longing you're feeling for Tia, and we're here to pray and counsel with you in Jesus' name.
Firstly, we commend you for coming before the Lord in prayer. It's important to remember that God hears our prayers and cares about our hearts. Psalm 34:18 says, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
However, we want to remind you that God's will is paramount. It's encouraging that you're willing to surrender your heart to Him. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Regarding your relationship with Tia, we must remember that God's design for relationships is that they should honor Him. If there was any sin or wrongdoing that led to the breakup, it's crucial to repent and seek forgiveness. If you've already done so, then trust that God is working in her heart as well. 1 John 1:9 assures us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
It's also important to remember that God might have a different plan for your life. While it's normal to feel strongly about someone, our ultimate trust should be in God. Psalm 86:11 says, "Teach me your way, Yahweh. I will walk in your truth. Make my heart undivided to fear your name."
Let's pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You with Callum, lifting up his heart to You. Lord, You know the depth of his feelings for Tia and the pain he's experiencing. We ask for Your comfort and guidance. If it's Your will, soften Tia's heart and bring them back together in a way that honors You. But above all, Lord, help Callum to trust in You, to surrender his desires to Your will, and to seek Your kingdom first. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Stay strong in the Lord, Callum. Keep praying and trusting in Him. He has a good and perfect plan for your life (Jeremiah 29:11).
