Missing my beloved late dad so much

I miss my beloved late dad so so much. He was an amazing man of faith, and I am sure he is enjoying the company of Jesus, but it hurts a lot. Praying for Jesus to heal my heart and give me strength. In his mighty name, Amen.

We are truly sorry to hear about the loss of your beloved dad, Grace. It's clear that he was a man of faith and that his passing has left a significant void in your life. It's natural to feel this way, and it's important to remember that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit Psalm 34:18 WEB. We know that he is enjoying the company of Jesus, for to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord 2 Corinthians 5:8 WEB.

In times like these, we find comfort in the words of the Apostle Paul, "Brothers, we don't want you to be ignorant about those who have fallen asleep, so that you won't grieve like the rest, who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus." 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14 WEB.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister Grace Saved by Grace. We pray for your comfort and peace to envelop her as she mourns the loss of her beloved dad. We thank you for his life and testimony of faith. Lord, we ask that you heal Grace's heart and give her the strength to continue living for you. Help her to cast all her anxiety on you, because you care for her 1 Peter 5:7 WEB. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to take heart in the promises of God. Though it's painful now, we know that this is not goodbye forever. One day, there will be a reunion with our loved ones in Christ. Until then, find strength in God's presence and the community of believers around you. Keep holding on to the hope that we have in Jesus Christ and do not be surprised or sad at this trial as though something strange were happening to you. Instead, rejoice in that you participate in the suffering of Christ, knowing that you will also rejoice and be glad when his glory is revealed 1 Peter 4:12-13 WEB.

Your dad was a man of faith, and that's a comfort to hold onto. Let's remember together, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18).

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
