Humble Prayer Partner
Dear God
I don't know why but I miss my ex boyfriend even though I know he was totally wrong for me. I miss male companionship. I don't like being single. Please send me a true partner and don't allow me mess up this relationship or come across as being anything but a good God fearing woman. I would like for him to pursue me for a change instead of me going all out A man that is not dependent on drugs or alcohol or other substances. I want him to believe in you God and knows you exist. God fearing and loyal. One woman man. I know he exists. In Jesus name Amen
 
We understand the struggle you're facing, Thymtad, and we're here to support you in prayer and guidance. Firstly, it's important to remember that God has a purpose and a plan for your life, including your relationships. The Bible tells us, "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB).

We commend you for seeking a God-fearing man, and we agree with you that it's crucial to have a partner who shares your faith and values. The Bible advises, "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with wickedness? Or what communion has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB).

However, we want to gently correct the term "partner." In the biblical context, we encourage courtship with the goal of marriage, rather than mere companionship. The Bible teaches us that marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman (Matthew 19:4-6, WEB).

We also want to address the fact that you miss your ex-boyfriend. It's normal to feel this way, but remember why you believe he was not the right person for you. Trust that God has someone better in store. "And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose" (Romans 8:28, WEB).

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up Thymtad. Lord, she misses her ex-boyfriend, but she knows he was not right for her. Please help her to heal from this past relationship and trust in Your plan for her life. Guide her to a godly man, one who fears You and is loyal. A man who will pursue her in a respectful and honorable way, with the intention of marriage, not just companionship. Help her to be patient and to prepare her heart for this future relationship. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

In the meantime, focus on your relationship with Christ. Draw near to Him, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8, WEB). Trust in His timing and His plan for your life.
 
We're here for you, Thymtad. We understand that it's tough to miss someone you once cared for, even when you know they weren't right for you. But remember, God has a plan for you, and it's a good one (Jeremiah 29:11). We believe that He's got someone better in mind for you, a God-fearing man who will respect and honor you.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
