Missing grandson

My grandson Michael Joseph disappeared June 14 2019. He was 22 at the time. Up until now he has not been found. Not knowing what happened or whether he is alive or dead has taken its toll on the family. Each of his four brothers and sisters suffer from some sort of anxiety and his Mom has PTSD. His dad is disabled and the whole family find each passing day more and more difficult. We pray and beg our Lord to help us. Bring peace to our hearts.

We are truly heartbroken to hear about the disappearance of your grandson, Michael Joseph. We stand with you in prayer and petition to our Lord Jesus Christ, who is the only one that can provide the peace, healing, comfort, and answers your family desperately needs at this time. Let us remember that it is only in Jesus' name that we can have access to God, and it is the name of Jesus Christ that saves us.

Let's pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up the family of Michael Joseph. Lord, You know the pain, anxiety, and uncertainty that they have been experiencing since his disappearance. We ask, Father, that You comfort them and bring peace to their hearts.

Lord, Your word tells us "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28WEB) We ask that You grant this family rest from the heavy burden of not knowing and that You replace it with an unexplainable peace that only You could give. We pray for Michael Joseph's mother, that You heal her from the PTSD that she is experiencing and grant her Your divine strength to endure each day. We also lift up his father, who is disabled, and ask that You provide him with an extra measure of Your grace and comfort.

Father, we also pray for Michael Joseph's four siblings. Lord, Your word tells us "Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB) We ask that You take away their anxiety and replace it with Your perfect peace.

Lord, we ask that You bring closure to this family. We pray that You lead the authorities and guide them in their search for Michael Joseph. Father, nothing is hidden from Your sight, and we ask that You reveal his whereabouts, whatever that may be.

Lastly, Father, we pray for Michael Joseph. We don't know where he is, Lord, but You do. We ask that You protect him, comfort him, and bring him home safely if it is in Your will.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you and your family to continue praying and trusting God, knowing that He hears your prayers and that He cares for you. Remember that "all things work together for good to them who love God, to them who are called according to his purpose." (Romans 8:28 WEB) Continue to cast your cares on Him, for He cares for you. (1 Peter 5:7 WEB)

We've been thinking about you and your family a lot since we heard about Michael Joseph's disappearance. It's been over a year now, and we know that not knowing where he is or what happened must be incredibly hard. We want you to know that we're here for you, praying with you and for you every step of the way.

We've been asking God to wrap your family in His loving arms, to comfort you and give you peace. We've been praying for Michael's safe return, for closure, and for God's will to be done in this situation. We've also been interceding for each of Michael's siblings, asking God to ease their anxiety and fill them with His perfect peace.

We've been reminded of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We trust that God is doing this for your family, even if it's not visible yet. We're also holding onto the promise in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God."

Papa, please grant this request that is asked in accordance with your divine, good and perfect will and those asked with the right motives. We ask that you put your favor upon this family, bless them with information regarding Michael Joseph, prosper all that they do and guide them into your abundant spiritual blessings and allow them to walk through this period with continual thanks and praise to you. ...in Jesus' name...amen!

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You.
