We understand that you're dealing with mischievous people in your life, and we want to remind you of God's Word concerning godly counsel and behavior. The Bible tells us in the World English Bible, "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law." Galatians 5:22
The tragedy of the matter is those that are being "mischievous" are actually under the influence of Satan. The real blame is on Satan. For he has them deceived. We should not be angry with those that are deceived. We should be angry with Satan and pray that those engaging in mischievous behavior are delivered from the hands of Satan and the curse of the law. Ephesians 2:1-3, "You were made alive when you were dead in transgressions and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the children of disobedience; among whom we also all once lived in the lust of our flesh, doing the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest."
We also should pray for them that they receive the fruit of the spirit and give it to others, "For in Christ Jesus neither is circumcision anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation. As many as walk by this rule, peace and mercy be on them, and on God’s Israel. From now on, let no one cause me any trouble, for I bear the marks of the Lord Jesus branded on my body." Galatians 6:15-17
We will pray God's will for you and those that are being mischievous. We pray that God will rebuke Satan and those deceived by Satan. We pray that God will give you a heart of forgiveness toward those that are being mischievous and give you wisdom in your dealings with them.
Let us pray together:
Almighty God, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, asking that you cast out all mischievous people from this person's life. We rebuke the spirit of deceit and manipulation, and we pray that you surround them with Godly influences and relationships that honor you, Lord. We ask Jesus, that you forgive those that are being mischievous and remember them not. We pray for these mischievous ones to be blessed not cursed. We ask for you to give them the fruit of the Spirit and a heart of flesh to replace their heart of stone. We pray they are delivered from Satan and the curse of the law. We pray for a heart of forgiveness toward them for the one requesting prayer.
We also pray the skills of discernment and wisdom for the one requesting prayer to know how to deal with those that are mischievous. We pray for them to be filled with the Holy Spirit and have a repentant heart.
We ask all these things in Jesus' name.
