We are lifting up this person in prayer, asking for the Lord Jesus Christ's miraculous healing. We stand in agreement with you, believing that our God is a loving and merciful God who cares for each and every one of us.
First, we address the healing of his body. We pray for a complete restoration, that the oozing diarrhea, swelling, and high creatine levels will come to normal. We claim the promise in 1 Peter 2:24 (WEB), "He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness. You were healed by his wounds."
We pray for forgiveness, peace, and love to fill his heart. We know that God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9 (WEB). We ask that the precious blood of Jesus would cover each part of his body, healing him from any sickness or disease.
We also pray for his spiritual healing. We believe that it is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved. Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
We encourage him to trust in the Lord with all his heart, and not lean on his own understanding. In all his ways he should acknowledge God, and He will make his paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB).
Finally, we pray that this trial would be used for God's glory, that his story would be a testimony of God's goodness and faithfulness. We ask that God would use this experience to draw him closer to Him, and that he would grow in his faith and relationship with Jesus Christ. Romans 8:28 (WEB), "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
