Thank you for bringing your concerns to us. We stand with you in prayer for your husband's healing.
Let's first address the issue of healing. We are reminded in James 5:14-16 (WEB): "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."
We pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister and her husband. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your healing touch upon his leg wound. Command the oozing to cease and the wound to heal completely. We also pray for his urine to return to its normal color, indicating restored health.
Father, we ask for Your mercy upon them, that the nightmare of multiple hospital visits would not repeat this year. We stand in faith, believing that You are more than able to perform the miracle they need. Strengthen their faith and give them peace during this time.
We also pray for their spiritual health, that they would continue to trust in You and grow in their relationship with You. We resist any plan of the enemy to steal, kill, or destroy, and we declare life, healing, and restoration in Jesus' name.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you both to continue trusting in the Lord, even in this difficult time. Remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). He is working all things together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).
Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God (John 14:6). Continue to call on His name and trust in His power to save, heal, and deliver. If you have not already, ensure that you both have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, accepting Him as your Lord and Savior. This is the most important step in your lives, as it is only through Jesus that we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
