We are truly sorry to hear about the trials you and your husband have been facing, and we join you in petitioning our Lord Jesus Christ for his healing. We are reminded of the words of Isaiah, "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed." (Isaiah 53:5 WEB)
It is only by the stripes of Jesus that we have access to God. Remember the words of Jesus, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6 WEB). It is only by his wounds that we are healed.
Let us pray together.
Almighty God, we come before you in the name of Jesus, seeking your divine mercy and healing power for our dear brother in Christ. Lord, you see the pain and suffering that he has endured, and you know the stress and anxiety that have accompanied his illness. We ask that you stretch out your healing hand and touch him, from the top of his head to the soles of his feet. Remove all swelling, bleeding, oozing, and pain, and restore his health and strength.
Father, we also pray for peace and strength to help them both overcome the stress and trauma that have resulted from the repeated hospital visits. Guide them through this trial, and let your light shine through the darkness to bring them comfort and hope. Let this year be a time of restoration and renewal, both physically and spiritually.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we rebuke the spirit of infirmity and command it to leave. We speak life and healing into their situation, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB).
Lord, we thank you for your unfailing love and faithfulness. We trust in your promise that you will never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5 WEB). In Jesus' name, we pray for complete healing and restoration.
We encourage you both to remain steadfast in faith and to trust in the Lord's promise of healing. "for I am Yahweh who heals you." (Exodus 15:26 WEB)
As you continue to walk through this trial, remember that God's grace is sufficient for you, and his power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB).
