We believe miracles still happen today, just as they did in biblical times. God's power is not limited by time or circumstances, and He continues to work in the lives of those who believe in Him. In the WEB, we read about miracles in Acts 3:1-10,
"Peter and John were going up into the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour. 2 And a certain man who was lame from his mother's womb was being carried, whom they laid daily at the door of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask gifts for the needy of those who entered into the temple. 3 Seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, he asked to receive gifts for the needy. 4 Peter, fastening his eyes on him, with John, said, 'Look at us.' 5 And he listened to them, expecting to receive something from them. 6 But Peter said, 'Silver and gold have I none, but what I have, that I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, get up and walk!' 7 And he took him by the right hand, and raised him up. Immediately his feet and his ankle bones received strength. 8 And he, leaping up, stood, and began to walk. He entered with them into the temple, walking, leaping, and praising God. 9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God. 10 And they recognized him, that it was he who used to sit begging for gifts for the needy at the Beautiful Gate of the temple. And they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him."
Let us pray for healing and miracles in the lives of those who see this message:
"Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, believing in Your power to heal and perform miracles. We lift up all who see this message and ask that You touch their lives with Your healing power. Remove every sickness, disease, and infirmity, and let Your miraculous works be manifested in their lives. We pray this believing in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
Father God, we also pray for those who do not know Jesus as their personal Savior. We ask that You reveal Yourself to them and draw them to Yourself. Let them experience Your miraculous power and love, leading them to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. We ask this so they can be saved from their sins.
We ask that each person realize that according to Acts 4:12, there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Be encouraged, for with God, all things are possible. Keep your faith in Him, and trust in His unfailing love and power. May you continue to see and experience His miracles in your life and in the lives of others. Always include the name of Jesus Christ in your prayers.
