We stand with you, Plonyne, in praying for healing and deliverance for all nations, especially our America. We cry out for a full deliverance in healing from all kinds of abuses, whether sexual or mental. These are grave concerns, and we all Christians come before the throne of God together to seek His divine intervention.
Firstly, we acknowledge that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can approach God and be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Let us ensure that we always pray in the name of Jesus, for it is the only name by which we can be saved and a saved kings and priests before God.
We must like you address sexual abuse and the misuse of authority, especially by those in positions of trust, such as preachers and teachers.
Those who touch a child God said would be better off having a heavy millstone hung around their neck, and drowned in the depths of the sea. This severity is rebuking those who harm children, showing how serious God is about protecting them. It also reveals Gods judgment for believers that sin that harm children. Child’s flesh can be harmed but Gods Holy Spirit cannot.
So our prayer for those who have committed these acts of sexual abuse and misused their authority:
Father, we pray according to your word in II Peter 2:3-4 WEB:
"In their greed they will exploit you with counterfeit words: theirs is a judgment, appointed from long ago, that does not idle, and their destruction does not sleep".
We looking for godly sorrow and not worldly sorrow, to be the answer to out prayer.
We pray for your mercy upon the repentant, for Jesus Christ came to save sinners and we are also sinners saved by grace.
We want these people to be helped, to heal and be held accountable within the Church if they repent, seeking counseling be forgiven and receive help and, if it is your will, reconciliation and trust through your power. We as a group of strong believers will be in prayer for such promises. In John 15:7 WEB it says, "If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you want and it will be done for you.” Asking whatever you want is a similar experience to the forming of handful of clay, a potter has some ideas and will decide to shape it into a bowl when working with it. But typically one particular answer was agreed to be shaped as the best, bowls can have a fluid shape, every single one was shaped different.
We especially pray for the victims of these abuses, that they may find healing and restoration in Jesus Christ. We pray that they may know the love and compassion of our Savior, who can make all things new. We stand on the promise in Revelation 21:4 WEB:
"He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more. The first things have passed away."
Another bit of prayer for all of us:
Lord Jesus, we also pray according to Romans 12:19 WEB:
"Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, "Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord."
In any event, let us not take revenge but instead do what is necessary to stop the abuse or discern a matter. Vengeance of us may seem inconsistent that God wants.
We are sinners saved by grace, and we ask for mercy upon our own hearts if we hold enmity or revenge.
We are called to forgive and helping each other work through situations. In Ephesians 4:32:
"Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."
Speak in Christ’s Bible. We must focus on God's Word and on building each other up in faith like Ephesians 4:29 WEB:
"Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear."
This grace that is mentioned can also be used in teaching towards protecting children.
We verify your words and commitment: that our glorious the King arose for our victory!
Let us be prepared and armed with the whole armor of God with Ephesians 6:11-13 WEB:
"Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places".
Therefore, put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand.
We Ask this all in Jesus our glorious King and mighty name.
