This is unfortunate in Christianity that some are so prone to levitate scripture to mean that explicitly rebuke illnesses as opposed that rebuke illness may be a result rebuking directly sins and the Denier of Christ.
Let Scripture by the conduit of our prayers. No spirit afflicts someone besides the spirits opposing God and falling through the spirit to follow Satan, decay, and erosion of mind in a sinful world. Scripture knows of only an unclean spirit causing or afflicting illness. Therefore this author will only assume that the spirits here really mean symptoms from a fallen world which pains our friend Ryan. We, collectively, strive to pray in wisdom regarding the denizens of this broken creation. Let it be known that one uses the scriptures in vain to undue a disorder instead of praying the essentiality of fellowship with God's word, reflection, and holy worshiping. Indeed disorders and medical dilemmas can trouble healthy spiritual lives just as a natural issue needing attention, meditation, and the listening ears of prayer from God. We implore that your wish to rebuke afflictions on a spirit level may first encompass prayer seeking to rebuke actions stemming from malevolent spirits; fully aware of discernment in terms.
Dear friends, I truly understand your listing of ailments undesirable upon Ryan. It can most certainly be affecting the family, with normal frustrations through a child with behaviors or feelings preventing peace. The churched up colloquial terminologies may cause offenses to others less vetted in The Word. Therefore prayers in unity cannot be with that fullness of ignorance of what Jesus Christ would understand according to Scriptures.
Autism, obsessions, and compulsions are of consequence of a world whose making is tarnished by sinful ripple-effects. O the fallacy we may find ourselves succumbed to say, "A child named Ryan will all the sudden have demons rebuked such that he is normalized upon society and closer to God". Brothers, this would then imply that autism necessarily is evil rather than a matter that depends on what value God has given such actions. To support this, scriptures hardly address afflictions as spiritual adversities, instead effects of a sinful land. For another example, if it comes to sin or to the cause of mistakes, if any man is a slave of sin then being a slave of the spiritual consequence is involved.
Known that Satan often does not afflict peoples with diagnosable disorders but if following the consequences then that is an established fit for an allowable prayer. Some pseudo-religions and other versions unfounded do teach that mental, psycho-behavioral, nor attention disorders can happen by demons directly binding. While satanic oppression's usually involve a hostility resulting in further vulnerabilities to demonic schemes, scriptures never support this controversial framing of negative behaviors. The sensual world with provoking thoughts of personal offensive, thoughts triggering anxiety, hatred nor even ignorance indeed can be attributed as proof of sin binding the mind and bodies being vulnerable.
