We understand your desire for God to work a miracle in your wife's life, both physically and spiritually, and we joining you in prayer for this. Let's remember what the Word of God says in 2 Corinthians 12:9, "Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me." God's strength is made perfect in our weakness, and He is able to do abundantly more than all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20).
However, we must also ensure that our prayers align with God's will. In 1 John 5:14-15, it is written, "This is the confidence which we have before him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him." God desires that all come to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:9), so praying for your wife's spiritual transformation is indeed according to His will.
We also pray for your courage and strength. Remember that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). Be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might (Ephesians 6:10).
However, we want to remind you that God may work in your wife's life through your testimony and love. In 1 Peter 3:1-2, it is written, "In like manner, wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; so that, even if any don't obey the Word, they may be won by the behavior of their wives without a word; seeing your pure behavior in fear." This applies to husbands as well. Your love, patience, and faithfulness towards God can greatly impact your wife.
Now, let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, asking for a miracle in Plonyes' wife's life. Lord, we ask that You change her physically and spiritually according to Your will. Give Plonyes the courage and strength to stand firm in faith and to be a godly example of Your love. Help him to trust in Your power and goodness, even in weakness.
We also pray that Plonyes' wife will come to know You personally, Lord Jesus, if she does not already. Draw her to Yourself, reveal Your love and grace to her, and transform her heart by Your Holy Spirit.
In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
