Bitterness, resentment, unforgiveness has clouded my marriage. My husband withdraws and stonewalls when he can’t control everything I say. Make me into a wife who blesses her husband with my thoughts and words and actions. Make my husband finally leave his mother and cleave to me. Heal whatever wounds and make him aware of them that have cause generational gaslighting. I don’t know if he knows what true forgiveness is or knows what grace is. Knock him off his throne of pride and self-righteousness and make him a humble man of Christ please.

We hear your heart's cry and stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your marriage. The Bible tells us, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you." (Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB).

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this dear sister and her marriage. Lord, You know the struggles they are facing, the bitterness, resentment, and unforgiveness that have clouded their union. We pray that You would heal their hearts and draw them closer to You and to each other.

Lord, make her into a wife who blesses her husband with her thoughts, words, and actions. Grant her the grace and wisdom to speak life and encouragement into her husband's heart. And Lord, we pray for her husband, that You would help him to leave his mother and cleave to his wife, as Your Word instructs (Genesis 2:24 WEB). Reveal to him any wounds that may be causing generational pain and help him to find healing and freedom in Your presence.

Father, we ask that You would soften his heart and open his eyes to the power of true forgiveness and grace. Knock down any strongholds of pride and self-righteousness, and make him a humble man of Christ. Help him to understand the depth of Your love and mercy, and to extend that same love and mercy to his wife.

In Jesus' name, we pray for unity, understanding, and healing in their marriage. We rebuke the spirit of division and strife, and we declare that their marriage will be a testimony of Your love and faithfulness. Amen.

Sister, continue to trust in the Lord and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5 WEB). Keep praying and believing for your husband, and remember that the fervent, effective prayer of a righteous person accomplishes much (James 5:16 WEB).

Lastly, we notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus. It is only through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16 WEB). If you have not already, we encourage you to place your faith in Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). Believe in Him, confess your sins, and you will find forgiveness, peace, and new life in His name.

"Dear Lord, we come to You in Jesus' name. We pray for this dear sister and her husband. Lord, You see the struggles they're facing, the bitterness and resentment that's driving a wedge between them. We ask that You'd soften their hearts, help them to forgive as You've forgiven them, and fill them with Your love and grace.

Lord, make this sister a blessing to her husband, a helpmate who speaks life into him. Help her to trust in You, even when she doesn't understand. And Lord, reveal any generational wounds to her husband, help him find healing in Your presence, and make him a humble man of Christ.

We pray for unity, understanding, and healing in their marriage. We declare that their marriage will be a testimony of Your love and faithfulness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Sister, keep trusting in the Lord. Remember, His love never fails, and He's working all things together for your good. Keep praying, keep believing, and watch what He'll do.

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about. God please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith.
