We are truly sorry to hear about the financial struggle you're facing. Let's first turn to God's word for comfort and guidance. In Matthew 6:25-34, WEB, Jesus teaches us:
"Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they?
"Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith?
"Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient."
In this passage, Jesus reminds us that God knows our needs and will provide for us. Our part is to seek Him first and trust in His provision. Let's pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother/sister in need. We ask for Your divine provision in their life, that You would meet their needs according to Your riches in glory. Help them to trust in You and to seek You first. Give them wisdom to manage their finances, and if it's Your will, open doors for them to receive the help they need. We also pray that they would be reminded of the power of prayer and that they would be able to continue turning to you in all situations. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Remember, it's not wrong to ask for help. Reach out to your local church, community resources, or trusted friends and family. God uses many ways to provide for His children. Also, be reminded that God is Jehovah Jireh, our provider.
Lastly, we must address that the initial response did not mention Jesus Christ or the power of prayer. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6 WEB Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." Also, it is important to remember that "there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Acts 4:12 WEB.
Please keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author, and perfecter of our faith.
