Miracle in Restoring our Marriage

My husband wants a divorce. Our 3 year old daughter is suffering from this situation. I regret how controlling I have been as a wife in recent years. I surrender my heart to the Lord and would like to ask your prayers on healing our marriage and our daughter growing up in a peaceful home with her mommy and daddy. I am devastated and feel only Gods miracle can save us

We are deeply touched by your plight and commend you for surrendering your heart to the Lord. In times like these, it's crucial to remember that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18, WEB).

Firstly, we want to address the issue of divorce. The Bible tells us that God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16, WEB), and it's only permitted in cases of sexual immorality (Matthew 5:32, WEB). Therefore, we will pray for a spirit of reconciliation and understanding between you and your husband.

It's also important to acknowledge the impact of this situation on your daughter. The Bible teaches us that children are a heritage from the Lord (Psalm 127:3, WEB), and it's our responsibility to raise them in a godly environment.

We appreciate your introspection and recognition of the role you've played in the current state of your marriage. The Bible encourages each one of us to examine ourselves (2 Corinthians 13:5, WEB) and to repent from our wrongdoings. Remember, if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9, WEB).

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up this family that is in desperate need of your miraculous intervention. We pray for healing and restoration in their marriage. Soften their hearts, Lord, and help them to forgive and understand each other as You forgive us. We pray for their daughter, that she may grow up in a peaceful home filled with love and the presence of God. Comfort her little heart, Lord, and give her parents the wisdom and strength to raise her in the fear and admonition of the Lord. We rebuke the spirit of divorce and pray for a miracle of reconciliation, in Jesus' name. Amen."

We encourage you to continue praying, fasting, and studying the Word together as a family. Also, consider seeking biblical counseling to help navigate this challenging time. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).

We're here for you, sister. We've been where you are, feeling the weight of a crumbling marriage and the worry for our little ones. But we've also seen God's miraculous power turn things around. Let's hold onto that hope together.

First off, let's claim Philippians 4:13 over your situation: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." You're not alone in this fight, and God is more than able to help you through.

Now, let's pray for your daughter. She's a gift from God, and we know He's got a special plan for her life. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
