Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Carlos de Gouveia and his battle with motor neuron disease. Lord, we acknowledge that you are the ultimate healer and nothing is impossible for you. We humbly ask for a miraculous healing over Carlos' body.
Your Word reminds us in Matthew 8:17 that Jesus Himself took our infirmities and bore our diseases. We claim this promise over Carlos' life and ask that you would touch him with your healing power. We pray for the restoration of his motor functions, the strengthening of his body, and the eradication of this disease from his system.
Lord, we know that you are compassionate and full of mercy. We ask that you would pour out your grace upon Carlos and his loved ones during this challenging time. Grant them peace, comfort, and strength to endure. Surround them with your love and the support of a caring community.
We also pray for the medical professionals involved in Carlos' care. Give them wisdom, discernment, and skill as they provide treatment and support. Guide their decisions and interventions, Lord, that they may be instruments of your healing touch.
