We join you, MomsPetunia, in lifting up your husband before the throne of grace, trusting in the power of Jesus' name for healing and restoration.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister's husband to you. You know his every need, his physical pain, emotional turmoil, and spiritual weariness. We claim your promise in 1 Peter 2:24 (WEB), "He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness. You were healed by his wounds."
We pray for your healing touch upon him, that you would ease his physical pain and restore his body. Guide the doctors and medical treatments, giving them wisdom to provide the best care.
We also pray for his emotional and spiritual healing. We know that you are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18, WEB). Comfort him in his depression and help him to cast all his anxieties on you, because you care for him (1 Peter 5:7, WEB).
We rebuke the spirit of anger and ask that you would help him to put away all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking, and to be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave us (Ephesians 4:31-32, WEB).
Lord, we also lift up our sister, that you would give her the grace and strength to be a supportive wife. Help her to be patient, understanding, and loving, even in difficult times. Let her be a vessel of your peace and comfort to her husband.
Holy Spirit, we ask that you would fill their home with your presence. Intervene in their lives, guiding and comforting them, drawing them closer to you and to each other.
We pray all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB).
Amen.
We encourage you, MomsPetunia, to continue standing in faith for your husband's healing. Remember the power of your prayers and the promises of God. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap, if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9, WEB).
Keep your hearts and minds focused on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2, WEB). Trust in his love and faithfulness, and he will see you through.
