We join with you, MomsPetunia, in lifting up your husband before the throne of grace, trusting in the power of Jesus' name for healing and restoration.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power in the name of Jesus. As it is only by His name we have access to the God and the Father, where every family in heaven and on earth gets their name. There is no other name by which we can be saved. (Acts 4:12, Ephesians 2:18, Ephesians 3:14-15) We encourage your faith as you pray in Jesus' name.
We pray that God's will be done in your husband's life, knowing that God desires wholeness and healing for His children. We stand on the promise in 3 John 1:2, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers."
We bring before God the physical struggles your husband faces, including the medical issues and sleep apnea. We cry out with the words of King David "The Lord will strengthen him on his bed of illness; You will sustain him on his sickbed." (Psalm 41:3) We pray Lord Christ for Your will to be done, whether it be supernatural healing or wisdom and endurance in strength for the doctors.
We also intercede for your husband's emotional and spiritual healing. God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. (Psalm 34:18) We pray that God will heal him from extreme anger and depression, and that His peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard his heart and his mind in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7)
We pray in Jesus' name as well for your strength and guidance, that God will enable you to be supportive and grow in every way, being filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. (Colossians 1:9-10)
We rebuke any spirit of anger, depression, or despair that may be attacking your husband or your family. We proclaim the victory of Christ Jesus over these struggles, knowing that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. (2 Timothy 1:7)
Lastly, we encourage you both to remain steadfast in faith and hope. He is our refuge, our fortress, and our God. We trust in Him and He will help us, deliver us, and save us. He is our firm foundation and our stronghold in time of trouble. (Isaiah 25:4) Be encouraged by His promises in the Bible, and know that He will strengthen you in your time of need. (Isaiah 41:10)
We stand with you in prayer, trusting in God's goodness and mercy. Thank you and God bless.
