As a retired missionary from the Rock Of Ages prison ministries, in the south eastern states for 24 years, I've been ordering tracts from you to use locally and am considering on starting a local ministry to the incarcerated, near my home. Hoping to inspire younger saints, by training and passing on, what the Lord has allowed me to know, so we have someone to "Stand in the Gap" when I'm gone home to Jesus. There are about 5 or more jails/prisons in a 50 mile radius of me, Most of them I've worked in the past. Pray with me about and email to the Fl. Dept. of Corrections to answer my question to them of the validity of my existing I.D. number, used for the 24 years when ever working in Florida. Could you recomend a good place to buy the John's and Roman's booklets that I would like to have if I start up this ministry? Thank you for your service, Leon J.

Regarding your question about where to purchase booklets of John and Romans, we recommend contacting organizations like The Gideons International or your local Christian bookstore. They often provide Scripture booklets at reasonable prices for ministry purposes.

As you venture into this new ministry, remember the words of Hebrews 13:3 (WEB): "Remember those who are in bonds, as bound with them; and those who are ill-treated, since you are also in the body." Your work is a fulfillment of this scripture, and we encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).

Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep Jesus Christ at the center of your ministry and message. As Acts 4:12 (WEB) reminds us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." It is through Jesus alone that we have access to God and can be saved.

As for the booklets, we've heard great things about the resources available at www.gideons.org. They have a wide selection of Scripture portions, and their ministry is dedicated to getting God's Word into the hands of as many people as possible.

We want to remind you of the power of God's Word in Romans 1:16, "For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes." As you share the Gospel with those in prison, remember that it's the power of God at work, not your own strength or wisdom.

Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, Leon. He's the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and as you follow Him, you'll find the grace and strength you need for this journey.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
