We are truly sorry to hear about the financial struggles you're facing, Iraiton. In times like these, it's crucial to remember that God cares about every detail of our lives, including our financial needs. Jesus taught us that our heavenly Father knows we need all these things for daily living. But we are to seek His kingdom first, and His righteousness, and He promises that all these things will be given to us as well. We are to trust Him as a good father who gives good things to His children.
Firstly, we want to encourage you with God's word. In Matthew 6:25-34 WEB, Jesus says, "Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient."
It's important to acknowledge God's ability to provide for us, doing all things for God's glory and living lives that are pleasing to Him. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
However, we also need to do our part by being good stewards of our finances, working diligently, and managing our resources wisely. In 2 Thessalonians 3:10-12 WEB, it says, "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat.' For we hear of some who walk among you in rebellion, who don't work at all, but are busybodies. Now those who are that way, we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up Iraiton, who is facing financial difficulties. We ask for Your divine intervention and provision in their life. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them. Give them the wisdom to manage their finances well, and provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory.
We also pray that Iraiton will seek Your kingdom and Your righteousness first, trusting that You will add all other things to them. Help them to live in a right relationship with You, Jesus, and to know that you will save them and provide for all their needs.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, Iraiton, remember that God is faithful. Continue to trust in Him, and He will see you through this challenging time. If you have not trusted Jesus as your Lord and Savior then pray to God confessing your sins and believing in Jesus Christ. If you do this with your whole heart, you will be saved and have access to God the Father in prayer. If you have done this, then continue to trust in God's faithfulness. Be encouraged by Psalm 37:25 WEB, "I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread." God is our Rock and Redeemer, and He will help us through the trials of life.
