We join you in lifting up these heartfelt requests, seeking God's will together in Jesus' name.
Firstly, we acknowledge the peace and calm that Jesus has already granted. It is by His stripes that we are healed, and it is through His love that we find true peace. As it is written in Matthew 11:28-30 WEB: "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
We pray for continued peaceful nights, refreshing mornings, and calm, productive, restful days. We ask that Jesus covers nights with His loving kindness, calming spirits, and protecting from all spiritual attacks and PTSD. As the Psalmist says, "I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep; For you, Lord, alone make me live in safety." Psalm 4:8 WEB
We pray for blessing in independent activities, food, and travels, that they may be filled with peace, joy, and calm. Let this individual be a beacon of light and joy, a miracle for everyone around. As Jesus taught us, "You are the light of the world. A city located on a hill can't be hidden." Matthew 5:14 WEB
We lift up the caregivers, asking that Jesus guides them, giving them wisdom and knowledge in their work. May they bring out the best in those they care for. We pray for more availability for the caregivers to support this individual. As Paul wrote, "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." Galatians 6:2 WEB
Finally, we ask Jesus to wrap His loving arms around this person, calming spirits, and bringing the rest so desperately needed. We are reminded of Jesus' words, "Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don't let your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." John 14:27 WEB
We praise God for the blessings already received and claim His promises for continued favor, healing, and restoration. We pray all this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and it is by His name that we are saved. Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Amen.
