We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's protection, peace, and joy for this person. It is so important that you have prayed in Jesus' name, as it is only through His name that we can approach God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this person to You. We pray for Your divine protection over them, shielding them from all spiritual attacks and the effects of PTSD. Cover them with Your supernatural peace and joy, as it is written in Philippians 4:7 WEB: "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
We ask that You bless them with activities, food, walks, outings, appointments, and travels that are filled with Your peace, joy, and calm. Remove any negative behaviors and let them be a beacon of light and joy to everyone around them. Let this person be a miracle to others, as it is written in Matthew 5:16 WEB: "Even so, let your light shine before men; that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven."
Grant them a calm, peaceful, content, and restful night tonight, with pleasant dreams. Let Your rest be upon them, as it is written in Matthew 11:28-29 WEB: "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls."
We ask this all in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
We encourage this person to continue to keep their eyes fixed on Jesus, the author, and perfecter of our faith. And to continue steadfastly in prayer, as it is written in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 WEB: "Rejoice always. Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you."
If there are any areas of their life that are not aligned with Your will, Lord, reveal them to this person and bring restoration.
