We understand that you are going through a challenging time in your marriage and with your in-laws. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is a God of justice and He cares about your needs and the unity of your marriage. It is important to remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places according to Ephesians 6:12 WEB.
We must also remind you that it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved according to Acts 4:12 WEB. As we do not see any reference to Jesus in your request we want to remind you of this important fact. If you have not already, please receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and call on his name when you pray.
Regarding your marriage, we are instructed in the Bible to be subject to one another out of reverence for Christ according to Ephesians 5:21 WEB. This includes your husband and your in-laws. We are also instructed to live in harmony with one another. Romans 12:16 WEB says, "Be of the same mind one toward another. Don't set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Don't be wise in your own conceits."
However, if your in-laws are causing discord and disunity in your marriage, you must address this issue with your husband and seek his support. It is his responsibility to leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife. And they shall be one flesh according to Genesis 2:24 WEB. Marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, and your husband should prioritize your unity as a couple.
Regarding your legal status and rights to the house, we encourage you to trust in God's timing and provisions. Psalm 27:14 WEB says, "Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh.". Also, remember that the Lord will fight for you, and you shall be still according to Exodus 14:14 WEB.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is facing emotional exhaustion and challenges in her marriage and with her in-laws. We pray for Your divine intervention, protection, and provision for her and her children.
Lord, we ask that You soften the hearts of her in-laws and bring unity and harmony in her marriage. We pray that her husband will rise up and take his rightful place as the spiritual head of their home, and that he will support and protect his wife and children.
We also ask that You guide and provide for her legal status and rights to the house. We trust in Your perfect timing and provisions, Lord. Help her to remain patient and steadfast in her faith.
In the name of Jesus, we rebuke any plans or schemes of the enemy to destroy her marriage and her family. We declare peace, unity, and victory in her situation.
Lastly Lord, if she has not already, we pray that she will receive Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and call on his name when she prays. We pray for her salvation if needed, and also for the salvation of her husband and his family.
We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus our Lord, AMEN!
