GOD FIRST

When we put ourselves and our desires above others, whether as elitists, as a race, or even as a nation, not only, in like manner, do we set ourselves above God, but we likewise set ourselves up for His judgement. As it is written . . .

"The last will be first, and the first last."

Nothing shall be set above The God of LOVE, TRUTH, and JUSTICE.

Not economy - For such is as a golden calf to exalt mammon.

Not agenda - For His thoughts are not like ours, neither are our ways like His.

Not leaders - No man shall be set before God.

Not even nation - For such has the odor of grievance and entitlement: Matthew 20: 1-16.

"The earth is the Lord's and it's fullness thereof, the world and everbody in it."
God's greatest commandment is that we first love Him above all else, for in so doing, it is inherent that we would place the well-being of others before our own interests. When we put God first, both our behavior and our being as humans reflect His spirit.

Let Us All Pray For Justice, Mercy, and True Peace That Never Ends: Oh Heavenly Father, our hearts are heavy. Some of our hearts are broken and we are tired. God I ask You in Jesus’ name, please give Your children and Your church eyes to see and ears to hear where and how Your Holy Spirit is working in what is going on in our Nation concerning racism. God help each of us to see every person the way You see them. God, break our hearts for what breaks Yours. Let us not merely say that we love each other, but show it in our actions. Give us the strength to mourn with those who mourn and to weep with those who weep. God, let Your justice, righteousness, and love roll and flow from us like rivers of living water that never ends in this Nation. Lord purify our thoughts and hearts and fill us with a genuine hunger for Justice, Mercy, Truth, and True Peace. God let justice and mercy start with me, my home, my family, and my church. God let racism and police brutality stop, and the system that set up systemic racism burn to the grown and die at the roots. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen. –YouVersion–Edited by Encourager Linda Flagg

To: The Nation - God is not to be manipulated. To: The Church - God is not to be marketed. Seeking to do either is reprehensible; for we reep what we sow. God is to be reverenced, and represented, respectively. ❤
