We understand the struggle that Miko is facing with video game addiction and the impact it's having on his marriage and life. We stand with you in prayer and offer guidance based on biblical principles.

Firstly, it's important to acknowledge that addiction, in any form, can be a stronghold that keeps us from living the life God intended for us. The Bible tells us, For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Ephesians 6:12.

Miko's struggle with video game addiction is not just a physical battle, but a spiritual one as well. We are encouraged to Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. Ephesians 6:11. This means dedicating time to prayer, reading God's Word, and fellowshipping with other believers.

We also want to address the importance of Miko's role as a husband. The Bible tells us, Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave himself for her. Ephesians 5:25. This means being present, caring for, and cherishing his wife, rather than ignoring her for the sake of gaming.

Moreover, we understand the financial strain they are under, but the Bible encourages us, But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s trouble is enough for the day. Matthew 6:33-34. This means trusting God with their finances and focusing on His priorities.

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up Miko and his wife to You. Lord, we know that You desire for Miko to be free from the bondage of addiction. We ask for Your Holy Spirit to guide him, to give him strength and wisdom to overcome this struggle. Help him to put on the full armor of God daily, to stand firm against the devil's schemes.

We also pray for their marriage, Lord. Help Miko to understand and embrace his role as a husband, to love his wife as Christ loved the church. Help him to be present, to care for and cherish his wife, as You intended.

We ask for Your provision over their finances, Lord. Help them to seek first Your Kingdom, to trust in You for all their needs.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage Miko and his wife to engage in Christian counseling to help overcome this addiction and strengthen their marriage. We also encourage them to find a local church community where they can find support and fellowship.

Lastly, we want to remind them of God's promise, No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. 1 Corinthians 10:13.
