We understand your feelings for Michael, but let's first and foremost align our hearts with God's will and His Word. The Bible teaches us, "Love is patient and is kind; love doesn't envy. Love doesn't brag, is not proud, doesn't behave itself inappropriately, doesn't seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; doesn't rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things." (1 Corinthians 13:4-7 WEB)
However, we must also remember that God's design for love is within the bounds of His commands. If your love for Michael is leading you towards a godly marriage, then we wholeheartedly support you in that. But if it is leading towards or currently in a situation that God calls sin, such as fornication or a relationship not blessed by God, we urge you to repent and turn away from that sin. "Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." (1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB)
Let's pray for you and Michael, that God would lead and guide both of your hearts according to His will.
**Prayer:**
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today lifting up Anonymous and Michael. We ask, Lord, that You would reveal Your will to them, and guide them in Your truth. If their relationship is pleasing to You and centered around Your love, Lord, we pray that You would bless it and guide them towards a godly marriage. But if it is not, Father, we ask that You would convict their hearts and lead them to repentance. We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Lastly, Anonymous, we noticed that you didn't mention the name of Jesus in your request. We want to remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all; the testimony in its own times." (1 Timothy 2:5-6 WEB) If you haven't already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, conquering death and offering you eternal life.
