Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the transformation You have brought into the lives of Michael and Megan. We thank You for their sobriety and the strength You have given them to overcome trauma and addiction. Your Word says in 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" We praise You for making them new creations in Christ.
Lord, You know the desires of their hearts and the challenges they face in securing a safe home for their growing family. We ask that You open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:7) and provide them with a place where they can find peace and stability. Your Word assures us in Philippians 4:19, "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus." We trust in Your provision for Michael and Megan.
We also pray for those who are in a position to help them, that their hearts may be softened and filled with compassion. Let them see Michael and Megan through Your eyes, Lord, and be willing to give them a chance. As Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." May Michael and Megan continue to trust in You, knowing that You are guiding their steps.
Lord, we ask that You bless everyone who lifts up Michael and Megan in prayer. Grant them long life, good health, and contentment as they stand in the gap for this couple. May their prayers be a sweet aroma to You, and may Your blessings overflow in their lives.
In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
