We stand with you in faith, Ilourerq, as you intercede for your dad, Kelly Eghosa Owie. We believe that God is the ultimate healer, and His power is made perfect in our weakness.
Let us pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, seeking healing and restoration for Kelly Eghosa Owie. You said in Your word, 'Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up.' (James 5:14-15 WEB) We claim this promise for Kelly.
We rebuke the spirit of cancer that has been attacking his body. Specifically, we speak against the metastatic cancer in his bones. Cancer has no place in Kelly's body, for his body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. As it is written, 'If any man destroys the temple of God, God will destroy him; for the temple of God is holy, which you are.' (1 Corinthians 3:17 WEB)
We stand on the promises in Isaiah 53:5 (WEB), 'But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed.' We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, Kelly is healed.
We pray that Kelly will leave the hospital stronger than ever before, and that this affliction will not rise again. We pray for total restoration and thank You, Lord, for Your healing power. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Ilourerq, continue to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5 WEB). Keep praying fervently, and remember that the effective, earnest prayer of a righteous person accomplishes much (James 5:16 WEB). God is faithful, and He will hear your prayers.
Stay strong in faith, knowing that the battle is the Lord's. Encourage Kelly to keep his eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2 WEB). May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB).
