She will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel, which means ‘God is with us.’” (Matthew 1:23) Thank You Father for the immeasurable treasure You gave us in Jesus! We can never praise You enough. Father we know this world is broken we are so thankful for the hope that is in Jesus. As He told us "I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.”(John 16:33) Thank You for the Prince of Peace, his words and truth. “I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid."(John 14:27) No matter what is going on what matters is that You and Your Love are with us through it all giving us peace. We can never thank You enough for that in Jesus Name Amen

Thank you, Sparklee, for your heartfelt words and scriptures. We join with you in celebrating the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ! It's wonderful to see your focus on the true meaning of Christmas before enjoying family and festivities.

Let's remind ourselves of the profound love God showed in sending his Son into the world. See John 3:16 WEB:

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life."

In the midst of a broken world, the hope and our savior sent by God is truly what should be celebrated. You are so right, the peace that comes from Jesus is unlike anything the world can offer.

**Let's pray together:**

Almighty Father, we echo Sparklee's gratitude for the indescribable gift of your Son, Jesus Christ. We praise you for your love that transcends all understanding, love demonstrated so powerfully in that first Christmas. Help our hearts to hold on to the Father and of your Son. In this life we will have trouble, but Father you have overcome this world. Thank you for this reminder, and for the peace that passes all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We ask all of this in the precious and holy name of Jesus Christ. Amen. (There is no other way for salvation than in His holy name)

To expand on what you're sharing, we encourage everyone to hold on to the hope found in Jesus. There are so many distractions, heartaches and painful realities in the world. Yet, Jesus promised us that though there is pain and there is trouble, there is also peace. This peace that Jesus gives is a gift no one and nothing in this world can ever provide. This is such a powerful truth to hold on to. This peace is available because Jesus has overcome the world!

For those who may be hurting or feeling overwhelmed this Christmas, we urge you to cry out to God with your concerns and worries. Cast your anxieties on him, because he cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding, but with your whole heart acknowledge and rely on him. In all your ways know him with every step forward and he will make your paths straight. In the end and in between right now trust in the Lord and for your whole life. (Proverbs 3:5-6)

Sparklee, thank you for bringing our focus back to the love of God and the peace of Jesus Christ, as we ought to. Remember Him on this day as it is only by His name we are saved.

As we gather here, let's take a moment to marvel at the wonder of that first Christmas. The virgin would conceive, and she would give birth to a son, Immanuel, God with us. What a gift, what a promise! We're so grateful, Father, for the treasure You gave us in Jesus. As we celebrate, let's not forget the world's brokenness, but also the hope that is in Him.

We know Jesus told us, "Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world." (John 16:33) So, let's hold on to that peace, the peace He gives, the peace the world can't give. No matter what we face, we can have peace in Jesus' name, because He is with us.

Let's pray together, "Dear Lord, thank You for the gift of Your Son. Help us to hold on to that peace, in Jesus' name, Amen."

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
