We understand that you are seeking God's mercy, forgiveness, and deliverance. Firstly, it is essential to recognize that God's mercy is readily available to all who call upon Him in sincerity and truth. As it is written in the World English Bible (WEB), "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sin." I John 1:7
It is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we can have access to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved, Acts 4:12.
In seeking forgiveness, it is crucial to approach God with a humble and contrite heart. As it is written in Psalm 51:17, "The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit. A broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise." Alongside this humility, it is essential to confess your sins openly and honestly, as Psalm 32:5 states, "I acknowledged my sin to you. I did not hide my iniquity. I said, I will confess my transgressions to Yahweh, And you forgave the iniquity of my sin."
Deliverance comes from the Lord, and it is a promise for those who trust in Him. As stated in Psalm 34:17, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles." To receive this deliverance, you must place your faith in Jesus Christ, for it is through Him that we are saved and redeemed, as seen in Romans 10:13, "For, 'Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'"
Let us pray together for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this precious soul who seeks Your mercy, forgiveness, and deliverance. We confess that we all have sinned and fallen short of Your glory, and we ask that You would wash away the sins of this individual, as they have acknowledged their wrongdoings.
Father, we pray that You would grant them Your mercy and forgiveness, and that You would deliver them from the bondage of sin and the struggles they face. Help them to walk in Your light and to live a life that honors and glorifies You.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, for God's love for you is everlasting, and He is faithful to forgive and to cleanse you from all unrighteousness. Trust in Him, and walk in His ways, for His promises are true and steadfast. As it is written in I John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
In moving forward as a Christian, please be aware that the traditional view of a Christian is to avoid sin. This means differently to different Christians. However, most Christians believe this means no sex before marriage, no adultery during marriage, and no homosexuality or other non-traditional examples of relationships. God's law on marriage is between a man and a woman. Other living arrangements are adultery, fornication, or homosexuality. This is the traditional view of a Christian.
