We are glad to hear you are repenting of your sins and turning to God for mercy. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can approach God and seek His forgiveness. As it is written in the World English Bible , "Receive the Holy Spirit. Whoever's sins you forgive, they are forgiven them. Whoever's sins you retain, they have been retained" John 20:22. Also, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" 1 John 1:9 (WEB).
Let us pray together for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear soul who has turned to You with a repentant heart. Lord, You are merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness. We ask for Your forgiveness upon this person.
Father, they have acknowledged their sins and turned away from them. We ask that You grant them a second chance, that You wash them clean and give them a new heart and a new spirit. Help them to live a godly life, a life that is pleasing to You and that brings glory to Your name.
We pray, Jesus, that you pour out Your grace and mercy upon them. Guide them by Your Holy Spirit, lead them in Your truth, and teach them Your ways. We pray that they would develop a intimate relationship with You and become a strong disciple of Yours.
Thank you for inviting us to be your ushers bringing others to You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, God's mercy is new every morning. Trust in Him, walk in His ways, and He will direct your paths. Be of sober spirit, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Withstand him, steadfast in your faith that you are not the only one suffering. Realize that all over the world Christians are suffering too. It is only for a short time that you are enduring this suffering.
God is calling you to Himself, that you may receive eternal life. Do not be puffed up with pride, thinking yourself better or worse than you are. Do not think that you need no repentance. Instead, know that God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble. Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.
