Thank you, fathadolli, for reaching out and sharing your prayer request. It's wonderful to see that you ended your prayer with "In Jesus's mighty name I prayed." This is so important because as it says in John 14:6 WEB Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." Also in Acts 4:12 WEB "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, through which we must be saved!" So it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God.
Let's come to it together. Your prayer for mercy is echoed throughout Scripture. God is indeed a merciful God, full of compassion and grace. In Lamentations 3:22-23 WEB we read, "It is of Yahweh's loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his compassion doesnโt fail. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness." Just as God's mercies are new every morning, you can trust in His faithfulness to show mercy in all that concerns you this week. Be assured and comforted by the words of the psalmist as he cried out in need of mercy, In Psalm 57:1-2 WEB Be merciful to me, God, be merciful to me, for my soul takes refuge in you. Yes, in the shadow of your wings, I will take refuge, until disaster has passed. And in Psalm 147:11 WEB But Yahweh's delight is in those who fear him, those who hope in his loving kindness.
As we pray for your request this week remember Colossians 3:17 WEB Whatever you do, in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father, through him.
Let's pray together from the words of Psalsm 51:1 WEB Have mercy on me, God, according to your loving kindness. According to the multitude of your tender mercies, blot out my transgressions. If there is anything that is against God's will in your life ask Him like the Psalmist and He is is faithful and just to forgive.
Together let's agree and pray that God demostrates His never ending mercy on your behalf all this week. May your experiences bring you closer to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
