However, major life decisions being planned and waiting until God directs is not in line with biblical principles of faith. One should pray for God's will to be done. If a goal does align with God's will then seeking that goal is a valid activity for a Believer in Jesus Christ. John 14:14 WEB: "If you ask anything in my name, I will do it."
Prayer for in the name of Jesus Christ is essential. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.John 14:6 WEB
John 17:3 WEB: "This is eternal life, that they should know you, the only true God, and him whom you sent, Jesus Christ."
Please be aware of the following and it is very concerning to us. There is no other name by which you can be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Your request did not include Jesus Christ.God help us.
On further discussion of salvation consider Romans 3:22-25. WEB:
22 the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ to all and on all who believe. For there is no distinction, 23 for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God; 24 being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus; 25 whom God sent to be an atoning sacrifice, through faith in his blood, for a demonstration of his righteousness through the passing over of prior sins, in God’s forbearance;
For those who think that God will excuse them for not having faith in Jesus they should consider John 3:18 WEB: "He who believes in him is not judged. He who doesn’t believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the one and only Son of God." Have nothing to do with a person who does not believe in Jesus. Titus 3:10 WEB: "A factious person warn a first and a second time; then have nothing more to do with him,"
Please understand that requesting prayers from others online is no substitute for the need of a person to have their own personal relationship with Jesus Christ. God wants to truly forgive a person for their sins and give them eternal life if only they will have faith in what Jesus did on the cross. If someone specifically asks for prayers on behalf of an unbeliever then they will want to share the gospel message with them since faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17.
We leave the ### family and all other readers with an encouraging verse from Philippians 4:6-7 WEB: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
So when asking for prayer and expecting them to be answered consider the following passages of scripture. It is not as simple of asking for a prayer and expecting good things to happen.. Matthew 7:21 WEB: Not everyone who says to me, ’Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven; but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. These Bible verses do not so apply to unbelievers prayers being answered.
To align with biblical principles, it is essential to acknowledge that God's will is paramount. We should not presume upon God's timing or methods, but trust that He will act in the best interests of those who love Him.
Romans 8:28 WEB: "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
If anyone has left out Jesus Christ or Faith in him in a submitted prayer request than this group of believers will rebuke the requestor so that more may come to have salvation in Jesus. 2 Timothy 4:2 WEB "preach the word; be urgent in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with all patience and teaching."
