Let's come together in prayer. Let's pray for God's mercy and grace, which are new every morning. Let's remember that God's mercies are not just for us but also for us to share with others. As we pray, let's remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Let's seek God's face together, trusting in the power of Jesus' name.
Let's remember Lamentations 3:22-23, "Yahweh’s loving kindnesses indeed never cease, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness."
Also, let's recall Ephesians 6:12, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."
Let us pray together.
Father in heaven, we come before You, seeking Your mercy and grace. We confess that we need Your forgiveness and Your strength to live according to Your will. We ask that You would pour out Your mercy on us and on our loved ones, that You would give us the grace we need to face whatever challenges come our way.
Lord, help us to be merciful as You are merciful. Help us to extend grace to others as You have extended grace to us. Give us hearts that are willing to forgive, even when it's difficult. Help us to love our enemies and to pray for those who persecute us.
We ask for your grace and mercy to help us withstand the spiritual forces that come against us. We hear your word, and we will not be afraid. No weapon that is formed against us will prosper. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we rebuke the spirits of fear, uncertainty, and doubt. We will not bow to the rulers, authorities, and powers of this dark world. We will not give place to the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
Help us to put on the full armor of God, so that we can take our stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world.
Father, we know that Your mercy is great, and Your grace is sufficient. We trust in Your promises, and we ask these things in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ.
Amen.
