Abba Father,
O Lord, As this year starts. I pray that in your mercy, may your wisdom, grace, love and strength guide me, from step to step as I walk into the next chapter of my life, that you so graciously handed back to me. Give me the wisdom, perseverance, love, humility and discipline not to repeat the failures of my past, to seize the opportunities that you provide and use them for your glory.
Amen.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus on behalf of ###. We thank you for your mercy and grace that has brought him to this new year. We pray that your wisdom, grace, love, and strength will guide him every step of the way as he enters into the next chapter of his life.

Father, we ask for wisdom, perseverance, love, humility, and discipline for ###. Help him to learn from the failures of his past and not repeat them. Give him the discernment to recognize the opportunities that you provide and the courage to seize them for your glory.

Lord, we surrender ###'s life into your hands. May he walk in alignment with your will and purpose for his life. May he experience your presence and power in a deeper and more intimate way. Transform him by the power of your Holy Spirit and mold him into the image of Christ.

We thank you, Lord, for the blessings that lie ahead for ###. We trust that you will work mightily in his life and use him for your kingdom. May he be a vessel of your love and grace to those around him.

Protect me God from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
