We are here with you in spirit, lifting you up in prayer for your mental health. Remember, God cares deeply for you and wants to give you peace and soundness of mind. Let us pray:
"Father in heaven, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up our dear friend who is seeking your help for mental health. Lord, you tell us in your Word, 'The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.' You also tell us to 'come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Please keep this promise to our friend. Lord, guide them in understanding how to have godly mental health as they pursue the following verses: Philippians 4:6-7, 'In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.' Lord, we explicitly tell anyone praying that they must believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior to be saved. Lord, please help them with their belief and give them increased faith. We pray that our Lord gives our friend all the resources, support, and faith you promise in the Bible, to overcome and endure through this trial, that they may come out stronger, more resilient, and more reliant on Jesus Christ. In Jesus' name, we pray."
We encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, for he is the author and Perfector of your faith. He will help you through. Remember, in 2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB, 'He has said to me, Most assuredly, my grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore you should boast of weaknesses that the power of Christ may rest on you. If you believe in Jesus and He is your Lord and Savior, then you should keep that in mind and remember the Joy that comes in the Morning.
We also urge you to seek godly counsel and wise medical advice for your mental health. It is crucial to approach this situation holistically, addressing your spirit, soul, and body. Surround yourself with a community of believers who can support and encourage you in this journey. And always pray to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is only in His Name that we have access to God. Always be thankful to God for the Peace and strength that only He can provide. Please read Ephesians 3:12-13.
Lastly, remember Psalm 34:18, 'The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.' Trust and rely on Him.
If they have any specific concerns or struggles related to their mental health that they would like to share, let them. Include Jesus Christ in their prayers to assure that they are praying to God the Father and are doing so properly.
