Lord please save my ###’s soul. Please convict him to let You in. I pray for family reconciliation and for him to forgive. He refuses to go to family holidays/events and would rather stay home alone. He’s breaking his ###’s heart. He’s depressed and will not accept help.

###, let us stand with you in prayer for your son and your family.

Firstly we want to mention that our only way to be saved is by Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:13.

We will pray with you for his depression and everything. But I think it's important to note that the Bible instructs us to, in 1 Peter 5:7: "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." This isn't something we can cast onto others or them onto us, it is cast onto God. So we need to be praying for him to cast it onto God. In addition, in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4:

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."

This verse shows us this is not something that we can tell another to cast onto us. It is a personal responsibility to God.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up ###'s son to You. Lord, You know the depths of his heart and the struggles he is facing. We pray that Your Holy Spirit would convict him of his need for You and draw him to a saving faith in Jesus Christ. We ask that You would soften his heart and open his eyes to the truth of the Gospel.

Father, we also pray for reconciliation within this family. We ask that You would heal any brokenness and restore the relationships that have been strained. Give ### and her family the wisdom and patience to navigate this situation with grace and love.

Lord, we pray for ###'s son's mental health. We ask that You would comfort him in his depression and guide him to accept the help that he needs. Give him the strength to cast his worries onto You and find healing.

We're here with you, ###, standing in the gap for your son and your family. We've been lifting your burden to the Lord, asking Him to wrap your son in His loving arms and draw him close. We're believing for a breakthrough in his heart, for him to accept the help he needs and to find healing and peace.

We've been praying Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We're asking the Lord to be near to your son, to comfort him, and to save him from the depths of his depression.

We've also been praying for your family, ###. We're asking the Lord to mend any broken relationships and to fill your home with His love and peace. We're believing for restoration and reconciliation, for your family to be knit together in unity and love.

Let's keep praying, ###. Let's keep lifting your son up to the Lord, trusting that He is at work in his life. Let's keep interceding for your family, believing for a miracle of healing and restoration.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Dear Lord. Thank you for allowing these beautiful people to pray for my son. I know the prayers of the righteous are heard and answered in Your time. Although his depression is far from over, I do see You working in his life and I am grateful. I see that he is trying to be more pleasant and positive. He is far from out of the woods but I know with Your help overcoming this depression is possible. I pray for Your continued blessings and for Your salvation for all of my family. In Jesus name.
