We are lifting up Jakeb in prayer today, that God would grant him a day filled with joy, peace, and mental clarity. We stand with you in faith, believing that God has a wonderful plan for Jakeb's life, as it is written in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans that I have for you,' says the LORD, 'plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope."
Let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Jakeb to You. Lord, we ask that You would fill his mind and heart with Your peace today, according to Philippians 4:6-7, 'Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.' Help him to have a good and happy mental health day, and give him the strength to face any challenges that come his way. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you, as Jakeb's parent, to continue to cover him in prayer daily. Remember that God is faithful, and He loves Jakeb even more than you do. We also encourage Jakeb to trust in the Lord and to draw near to Him, for God promises in Psalm 34:18, "The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
Lastly, we want to gently remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God's throne of grace. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If you or Jakeb have not already done so, we encourage you both to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for this is the path to salvation (Romans 10:9).
