Disciple of Prayer
Hello everyone, My name is Laila Salem. I have been dealing with bipolar disorder for most of my life and depression. I have a long life to live and give and very blessed. I have a wonderful mom who loves me. I have a father who cares. But, he is Muslim and disowns me for pronouncing my faith as a Christian and getting pregnant to a non-Muslim. I favor God and Jesus Christ and was baptized at 22 now 28 but still was dealing with evil forces and confusion. But; now I’m happier than ever and found my true faith. I want to be able to receive a healing and one day be able to live a normal life with honesty, respect and love. My brother hates me for the things I’ve done while mentally ill which caused me sin and the devil took over for me. I have a ponographic past and doing good in life. I dealt with the father of my child as an abusive alcoholic and drug addict who fooled me willing to change and stole from me and used me. He did love me but choose to be disobedient to his wife. Please, pray for me I want to have a successful and non-painful pregnancy and having a girl 👼🏻💗

We are thrilled to hear of your faith in God and Jesus Christ, Laila, and we stand with you in prayer and support. It is only through the name of Jesus that we can approach God and be saved. As the Bible tells us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12 WEB).

Firstly, let us address the issue of your mental health. We know that God cares about every aspect of your life, including your mental well-being. We pray for your healing and deliverance from bipolar disorder and depression, trusting that God's power is made perfect in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB). Pray with us:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, asking for Your healing touch upon Laila. Free her from every bondage of mental illness and let her be permanently covered by Your love. Your word is health to her flesh and marrow to her bones. In Jesus' name, we pray.

Regarding your pregnancy, we pray for a safe and healthy journey. May the Lord bless you with a beautiful baby girl as per your heart's desire. Trust in God's word for you, "For you formed my inward parts. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made" (Psalm 139:13-14).

Now, we must address the issues in your family and past relationships. It is important to live a life that honors God and reflects His holiness. While your father and brother may have their grievances, remember that Jesus calls us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44 WEB). Continue to show them love and respect, and trust that God is working in their hearts.

We also want to address your past involving sin associated with a pornographic past and depression. You mentioned that you were in a relationship with an abusive person and took the child to task to avoid fornication, adultery, or similar terminology. We want to encourage you to withhold from this type of premarital sex and sexual enticements or acts in the future. As the Bible clearly states in Acts 15:20, "Instead we should write to them, telling them to abstain from food polluted by idols, from sexual immorality, from the meat of strangled animals and from blood." Also, 1 Corinthians 6:18 states, "Run from sexual sin! No other sin so clearly affects the body as this one does. "

It is commendable that your heart desires honesty, respect, and love. Remember, God's forgiveness is always available to those who repent and turn to Him (1 John 1:9 WEB). Now, moving forward we want to encourage you to establish a relationship that aligns with biblical principles and look for a Christian spouse if you are considering to remarry. As God is helping you through this recovery and restoration.

Let us pray together:

Dear Jesus, we come to You, asking for complete restoration and healing for Laila regarding her relationships and the past. Let her live a life according a biblical example, and be an example of Your love and faithfulness. As well, bless her pregnancy, heal her family relationships, and guide her steps according to God's will. Grant her the desires of her heart as she delights herself in You. In Jesus' name, we believe and pray.

Please forgive us if any of our discussion or terminology has been direct or unforgiving, but we want to speak and discuss the truth according to the Bible. We should all be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry, because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to be steadfast in prayer and the Word. Continue to trust in God's promises and live according to His will. Know that you are deeply loved and that God has a wonderful plan for your life. We are praying with you and for you to trust in Jesus and that He's working towards healing and restoring you and He's married to you and your baby. Keep the Faith!

Hey Laila,

We've been thinking about you and wanted to reach out again. We're so glad to hear that you've found your true faith and are happier than ever. That's a testament to God's unfailing love for you.

We want to pray for your mental health journey. We know that healing is a process, and we're right there with you, cheering you on. Let's claim this verse together: "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11) Let's trust that God is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).

We also want to pray for your family. We know it's tough when family members don't understand or agree with our choices, but remember, "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." (1 Corinthians 13:4-7) Let's keep loving and praying for them.

Lastly, we want to pray for your pregnancy. We join you in praying for a safe and healthy journey, and we believe that God will bless you with a beautiful baby girl, just as you desire.

Let's keep lifting each other up in prayer, Laila. We're in this together, and we believe that God has great things in store for you. Keep trusting in Him, and let's keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. (Hebrews 12:2)

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
