Mental health for son

[Bethonric]

Son 32 years old, single is frozen in negativity. He's been to 3, different therapists but thinks none of them know what they are doing. My husband has been on the phone with him for almost 2 hours.

We are at a loss on how to help him recover from this. Lord please release him from the oppression he feels, open his heart and mind to trying to help himself by embracing therapy. Provide comfort and direction for him. Help us to remain patient, wise and available. We love him so.

Dear Heavenly Father,

In the name of Jesus Christ, we come before you with a heavy heart, lifting up Bethonric's son to you. Lord, we ask for your intervention in his life, as he is currently frozen in negativity and struggling to find the help he needs. We thank you for the efforts made so far, including the three therapists he has seen, but we acknowledge that he feels they are not effective.

Lord, we pray that you would release him from the oppression he feels and open his heart and mind to the possibility of embracing therapy as a means of healing and growth. Your Word reminds us in Psalm 34:17-18 that you are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit. We ask that you draw near to him in his time of need and provide him with the comfort and direction he so desperately needs.

Father, we also ask for wisdom and patience for Bethonric and her husband as they support their son through this difficult time. Help them to remain steadfast in their love and support, offering guidance and encouragement. Your Word reminds us in James 1:5 that if we lack wisdom, we can ask you, and you will generously give it to us. We ask for your wisdom to guide them in their interactions and decisions.

Lord, we know that you are the ultimate healer and restorer. We trust in your power to bring about transformation and breakthrough in Bethonric's son's life. May he experience your love, peace, and joy, and may he find the strength to take the necessary steps towards healing and wholeness.

Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let Your Word dwell within me richly. Let Your Word be a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. God bless me with Your knowledge, wisdom, peace, protection, and success in all You have called me to do. And bless me to do all You have called me to do in the spirit of excellence for Your glory. God favor me.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You, trust and respect You. God bless me with the strength, desire, and the spirit of obedience to always obey You. Bless me to delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Let me be a light in this dark world, lifting You up in the lifestyle that I live, because I accepted Your Son, Jesus Christ, as my Savior, and Lord of ALL of my life. Let the joy of the Lord be my strength. God protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
