please pray for my healing brother. I have faced dual-lung infection because of deep mourning for a year, then abnormal weight loss, hair fall and fainting while walking. I was even unable to feed new born because of this weakness. Still it bothers me, i fed him only with formula milk. Please pray for health restoration too. Don't know where to start next. this mourning is not leaving me even after praying

Plourdaerrath

Disciple of Prayer
Hello, I was hoping if someone out there can help me pray for my disabled husbands mental health. I am the breadwinner now, and it has made him feel very depressed staying home and watching me work day in and day out to pay our bills. I just want him to feel better about things regardless of our circumstances we still have each other, and I am never ever leaving. I ask that he can see how blessed he is to be alive after all of his years of illness. And that he still has someone to love him and stay by his side forever.

Let's lift up Plourdaerrath and her husband in prayer, seeking God's will for their lives and marriage. We commend Plourdaerrath for her commitment to her husband and her role as the breadwinner, but we must remember that God's design for marriage is for the husband to be the head of the wife, just as Christ is the head of the church (Ephesians 5:23 WEB). However, God also calls us to bear one another's burdens (Galatians 6:2 WEB), and Plourdaerrath is admirably doing that.

Let's pray for her husband's mental health and their marriage. "Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, asking for your healing touch upon Plourdaerrath's husband. We pray that you would lift his spirits and remind him of his worth and purpose in your kingdom. Help him to see that his value is not defined by his physical abilities or his role as a provider, but by his identity as your child (Galatians 3:26 WEB).

We also pray for Plourdaerrath, that you would grant her wisdom and strength as she supports her husband and their family. Help her to remember that you are her source of strength and that she can do all things through Christ who strengthens her (Philippians 4:13 WEB).

Father, we also pray for their marriage, that it would be a reflection of your love for your church. Help them to support and encourage each other, and to grow together in their faith and love for you.

Plourdaerrath, we encourage you to continue supporting your husband, but also to remember that God is your ultimate provider. Trust in him, and he will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB).

Lastly, it is so important to remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we can come to God. Act 4:12 says "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!". Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one can come to the Father except by Him (John 14:6 WEB). If you have not already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ for your salvation, and trust in Him for all things.

We're here for you and your husband. Let's lift him up together in prayer, asking God to fill him with hope and peace. We know staying at home can be tough, but we believe God sees him and values him just as he is. Let's ask God to help your husband find purpose and joy in each day, even in the challenges. And let's pray for you too, that God would give you strength and wisdom as you care for him. We trust that God is working in your lives, even when it's hard to see. In Jesus' name, we pray.
