Mental Health and physical health issues

My stomache and feet have major issues and I'm also schizoaffective and dealing with the mood swings and anxiety of having these issues and not being able to work. I have an upcoming cat scan coming up that I'm worried about because I was a chronic drinker for years before being diagnosed diabetic. I am becoming a shut in and very depressed about the future. Also a burden to my family.

Firstly, let's address your health concerns. The Bible tells us that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20, WEB), and we are to take care of them as such. It's crucial to maintain open communication with your healthcare providers and follow their advice. We are thankful that you have an upcoming CT scan, as it's an opportunity for medical professionals to assess your condition and provide appropriate care.

Regarding your mental health, remember that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18, WEB). It's essential to seek professional help and support from loved ones, alongside your faith in God.

We also want to address your past struggles with alcohol. It's never too late to turn away from past mistakes and seek forgiveness. The apostle Paul reminds us, "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new" (2 Corinthians 5:17, WEB). Trust in God's forgiveness and strive to live a life pleasing to Him.

Now, let us pray for you:

"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, interceding for Dwendgyr. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon their stomach and feet. Guide the doctors and bring comfort and peace as Dwendgyr undergoes the upcoming CT scan. We also pray for their mental health, that You would stabilize their mood swings, calm their anxiety, and lift them out of depression. Help them to know that they are not a burden to their family, but a precious child in Your sight. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lastly, we want to encourage you to cast all your anxieties on God because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7, WEB). Keep trusting in Him, and remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God (John 14:6, WEB). If you haven't already, commit your life to Jesus Christ, and you will find hope, peace, and eternal salvation in Him. Stay strong in the Lord, and keep fighting the good fight of faith.
